Fabio Henriques — Construction Estimating Consultant, Brisbane
Fabio Henriques spent six years working hands-on for four of Queensland's major formwork and concrete subcontractors — as a carpenter, labourer, and on-site operator who understood the full lifecycle of a structural package from ground level up.
He also holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
That combination — years of trade experience and engineering discipline — is rare in construction estimating. Most estimators have one or the other. Very few have both, and fewer still have used both on live commercial sites.
Why Perform Is Different
In 2023, Fabio founded Perform to offer subcontractors and builders a formwork and concrete estimating service backed by real on-site knowledge — not just software proficiency. When Perform measures a job, the BOQ reflects how the work is actually built: pour cycles, stripping sequences, the items that cost money if they're missed at tender.
For subcontractors — especially those growing their business or navigating complex projects for the first time — Perform also provides construction business consulting: cash flow guidance, contract advice, variation support, and help presenting professionally to builders.
Perform is based in Brisbane and works with clients across Australia, fully remote.
